Fantastic fish and chips. Highly recommended. Friendly and helpful staff. Chips were very nice, they didn't taste greasy. We ordered a large chips and it easily covered 2 adults and 2 kids. The fish is made to order and has a lovely thin batter on it. The fish tasted amazing too. The kids enjoyed the chicken nuggets. Looking forward to going back and trying the other menu items.

Amazing food, delicious. So glad I diverted from Chesters Fish and chips as closed. This is the best fish and chips in the area. Great value for money and passed the acid test of a large fish being large! £13 large fish and chips, bottle of coke and gravy. Traveled from Hampshire and some great reviews and paid off.

It was our first time visiting Happys Chippy and will definitely be returning. The fish was amazing and the handmade crisps were lovely. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond it's definitely a 5 ⭐and definitely worth a visit.

I’ve seen reviews about this place and I was not disappointed. The service and food was excellent! I was aware that there may be a little wait but the food was cooked fresh and in front of me. Happy, the owner was friendly and genuine. He made a real effort in welcoming me and asking about my day. You don’t get service like this in this day and age. Amazing food, amazing service and they’ve got themselfs a new regular! Best fish and chips I’ve had !!

Tried the food for the first time after googling food places and I thought it was excellent! The service was great.. food cooked fresh. They really tried to go above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. They offered lollipops for the kids in the shop too which I thought was a nice touch. The owner made conversation with the customers. Really good food and service!

Googled best fish and chips in chesterfield and this place came up first.. I was not disappointed! The service was first class! Happy was really proud of the work the local kids have done.. the food was brilliant! It gave a real family feeling being in that shop! Great food and great service!
